Methodology

Clarity before certainty.

ARBAN is designed to help leaders ask better questions without asking data to say more than it can support.

01

Estimates, not exact counts

Most county indicators come from surveys or statistical models. ARBAN preserves source vintages and marks unavailable values rather than implying false precision.

02

Comparisons

County values are compared with Georgia using the same source, table, year, and calculation whenever possible. Above or below does not mean better or worse.

03

Margins of error

Small populations can have wide uncertainty. Directional insights should be confirmed with local knowledge and, where available, published margins of error.

04

Missing and suppressed data

A dash means the source did not provide a defensible value. Suppressed values are never converted to zero, and missing years do not break an otherwise useful trend.

05

Observed data and interpretation

Numbers describe conditions. Ministry questions invite discernment; they are not statistical conclusions, diagnoses, or rankings of churches or communities.

06

Refresh and provenance

Each source keeps its own vintage, cadence, and access terms. ARBAN does not silently blend unlike years into a single current-looking figure.
